Although summer is over, we’ve been lucky enough to have some gorgeous fall weather, that’s still great for boating! From those amazing September sunsets to that heat wave in early October, we’ve been able to get out on the water more than expected.

Continuing with our Home 100 tour – we’re rounding out the first floor with some of my favorite shots of our dining room! I feel like we’re seeing fewer formal dining rooms these days, with more open floorplans being favored, but I love having a more formal space.

Our living room is the first space you see when you enter the house, and it makes me SO happy when people immediately comment on how welcoming and cozy the space is. We felt the same vibe when we stepped into the house with our realtor, even though it looked very different, it still feels incredibly charming. So, come on in!

I’m so excited to be writing this post as a member of Progressive’s Boat Club, and sharing a little more about our lives as boaters! We’ll be partnering with them for some upcoming posts, including today’s topic about how important it’s been to have our boat covered throughout our journey.

Our house is turning 100 this year, so we were excited to give the front porch and steps a facelift in time for her birthday. After 100 years, I think she deserves it! So without further ado – let’s get into it!

It’s almost impossible to bottle up the perfect smell of the beach, but I’ve rounded up my absolute favorite fragrances that get really darn close. These are perfect to wear all summer long, or in the offseason when you’re in need of some vacation vibes.

Harbour Island is a little slice of paradise (actually little, it’s only three miles long and half a mile wide). The pink sand beach spans the entire east coast of the island, and yes, the sand really is pink and it’s softer than flour.

Winter can be a long, lonely season — and it’s even worse when the lake is frozen and your boat is on dry land. Not exactly your favorite place for it to be! Boating became such a huge part of our lives last summer, we almost didn’t know how we’d survive a few months without it.
