Even though we’ve made it through the darkest days of winter and daylight hours are growing, we coastal gals are still not out of the (winter) woods yet. With all the wild storms, snow squalls, and days at home, we are very much looking forward to celebrating Galentine’s Day this year!
Galentine’s Day always feels like a turning point from the dead of winter to the hope of spring’s arrival. To cheer ourselves up while we wait for beach days and boating season, we are planning to enjoy a girly coastal Galentine’s Day.
Galentine’s Day Activities
In 2026 we’re seeing a push for more analog and wholesome activities to combat social media addiction and doomscrolling. Galentine’s Day is the perfect time to slow down with your best gal pals and do a fun screen-free activity. Here’s how you can join us in all the coastal girl Galentine’s Day fun:
Charm Necklaces - it’s super easy to find cute charms and jewelry pliers online and it is a casual, creative way to spend a couple of hours together.
Flower Arranging - have one friend pick up a few bunches of different flowers and bring your own vessel or vase to make a pretty arrangement in.
Wine Tasting & Food Pairing - each friend brings a favorite bottle of wine and a food pairing to share. You will get to know more about wine and try some delicious bites.
Candy Salad - if your group isn’t super into crafting, try each bringing a bag of candy, mix them all up in a large bowl, and enjoy a colorful candy salad throughout your evening.
Friendship Bracelets - it’s a classic girly activity for a reason. No matter how many times we make friendship bracelets over the years, it’s always a fun and nostalgic activity.
